Marietta Eye Clinic Welcomes Ramsey Yusuf, M.D., Glaucoma Specialist

Marietta Eye Clinic is pleased to welcome Ramsey Yusuf, M.D., to our team of fellowship-trained ophthalmologists. Dr. Yusuf specializes in glaucoma management and surgery, offering advanced diagnostic and treatment options for patients across North Georgia. He will be seeing patients at our Cumming, Johns Creek, and Kennestone (Marietta) locations.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Yusuf earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Chemistry from Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine from Yale School of Medicine, where he also served in multiple leadership and mentoring roles. Dr. Yusuf completed his postgraduate training with an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by both residency and fellowship in glaucoma at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, one of the nation’s leading ophthalmology programs.

Dr. Yusuf’s clinical and research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including pseudoexfoliation glaucoma, pediatric ocular trauma, ocular manifestations of systemic disease, and healthcare disparities. His work has been published in leading ophthalmology and medical journals, and he has presented at both national and international conferences.

Guided by a deep commitment to equitable access to vision care, Dr. Yusuf strives to provide each patient with individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment. His passion for mentorship and community engagement continues to shape his approach to patient care and education.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Yusuf enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, writing, and multimedia editing.
