Marietta Eye Clinic Welcomes New Eye Doctor

Marietta Eye Clinic, one of Georgia’s largest and most comprehensive eye care practices, is pleased to announce the addition of Drake DeVos, O.D. to its active optometry staff. Dr. DeVos will provide primary care optometry, with a specialty in ocular disease, ocular surgery co-management, and glaucoma. He will see patients at Marietta Eye Clinic’s Kennestone, Acworth, Towne Lake, and West Cobb locations.

Dr. DeVos earned his Doctor of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry after attending the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology and graduated cum laude. He completed his residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Eye Care at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Montrose, New York. Dr. Devos is board certified in Advanced Optometry and is an affiliate of the Georgia Optometric Association and American Optometric Association.

When meeting the eye care providers at Marietta Eye Clinic, Dr. DeVos expressed an eagerness to serve patients stating, “I am immensely excited to help resolve the visual needs of patients and even aid in the detection and treatment of glaucoma. Consequently, I will be able to re-open their world of possibilities while educating them on their eye health. Furthermore, I am elated to be the newest addition to the Marietta Eye Clinic team and look forward to meeting everyone!
