Dr. Robison’s journey is marked by a profound dedication to both academic excellence and community service, making her a valuable asset to our clinic and the local community.
Dr. Robison’s path to becoming a seasoned optometrist began with her outstanding undergraduate studies in biology at Mississippi State University. Her academic prowess shone brightly during her time at the university, setting the stage for a remarkable journey in the field of optometry.
Following her undergraduate achievements, Dr. Robison pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the prestigious Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Her time at the college was not only marked by academic excellence but also by active participation in various enriching activities. As an officer in her class, Dr. Robison displayed leadership and dedication to her peers. Her commitment extended beyond the classroom, as she became an integral part of the Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH) program.
Through SVOSH, Dr. Robison had the privilege of embarking on mission trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic. These experiences provided her with an invaluable opportunity to offer essential eye examinations, distribute medications, and provide much-needed eyeglasses to individuals who lacked access to proper eye care resources. Her heartwarming dedication to improving the vision and lives of those less fortunate underscores her deep commitment to the field of optometry.
Beyond her academic and service accomplishments, Dr. Robison’s engagement extended to various extracurricular endeavors. Her involvement in student government and charitable initiatives with esteemed organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Toys for Tots showcases her profound compassion for those affected by ocular diseases and her unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child has the chance to achieve their full potential through comprehensive vision examinations.
One of Dr. Robison’s defining qualities is her emphasis on building strong doctor-patient relationships and prioritizing patient education. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients fully comprehend any conditions they may be facing, taking the time to address every aspect of eye care with meticulous attention. Her professional affiliations, including memberships in the American Optometric Association (AOA), Georgia Optometric Association, and the Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, further reflect her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field.
Dr. Robison’s commitment to her alma mater is evident through her previous role as the president of the Mississippi State Alumni Association’s Atlanta Chapter. This role allowed her to foster connections, promote academic excellence, and strengthen ties within the community.
When not tending to her patient’s eye care needs, Dr. Robison finds solace and joy in the company of her loved ones and friends. Her appreciation for gardening and exploring the great outdoors speaks to her balanced and fulfilling approach to life.
Marietta Eye Clinic is honored to welcome Dr. Robison as an esteemed member of our team. Her exceptional dedication to optometry, coupled with her genuine concern for the well-being of her patients and community, makes her a true visionary in the field.
