New Eye Doctor joins Marietta Eye Clinic

Marietta Eye Clinic, one of Georgia’s largest and most comprehensive eye care practices, is pleased to announce the addition of Hayden Matli, O.D. to its active optometry staff. Dr. Matli will provide primary care optometry, with a specialty in ocular disease and ocular surgery co-management. She will see patients at Marietta Eye Clinic’s Kennestone (Marietta) location and others.  

Dr. Matli completed student internships at Eye Center of Texas and Ochsner Health Center. She began her optometric career at Eye Center of Texas providing advanced level clinical care, educating hundreds of referring optometrists, and presenting research to the American Academy of Optometry.  

Marietta Eye Clinic is excited to welcome Dr. Hayden Matli to the team. When meeting the eye care providers at Marietta Eye Clinic, Dr. Matli expressed a great appreciation for the Atlanta community and an eagerness to serve patients stating, “I am thrilled to be joining the Marietta Eye Clinic team! Dr. Matli’s interests include the legislative side of optometry with a focus on ocular disease -anterior segment, glaucoma, and diabetic eye exams. She is a former board member of the American Optometric Student Associate and student ambassador for the Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Matli obtained her Bachelor of Science in biology, graduating cum laude. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry, also graduating cum laude.
