Marietta Eye Clinic Welcomes Jared Cox, O.D.

Marietta Eye Clinic is pleased to welcome Jared Cox, O.D., an experienced optometrist, to our growing team. Dr. Cox will be seeing patients at our Cumming and Johns Creek locations, expanding access to comprehensive eye care for patients in North Georgia.

Dr. Cox earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bob Jones University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry. During his optometric training, he received extensive education in primary eye care, pediatrics, vision therapy, vision rehabilitation, contact lenses, and ocular pathology. His clinical education also included externships focused on comprehensive and medical eye care.

With a strong background in both clinical care and research, Dr. Cox has experience as a Glaucoma Specialist, Therapeutic Optometrist, and Research Optometrist. His professional interests include the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, ocular disease, and contact lens care, as well as surgical comanagement.

In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Cox is an author and contributor to optometric publications, writing on the treatment and management of glaucoma. His commitment to education and evidence-based care supports Marietta Eye Clinic’s mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
