About Quynh Dinh, O.D., Diplomate ABO

Quynh Dinh, O.D. was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to the U.S. after finishing high school. Her interest in healthcare began early in life, but it became personal when she experienced the challenges of living with myopia in Vietnam—a country that, at the time, had no optometrists and very limited access to vision care. She understood from a young age how much clear sight impacts learning, confidence, and quality of life. After moving to the U.S. for college, she was introduced to the field of optometry and immediately felt drawn to it. “Being able to combine science, patient care, and vision improvement aligned perfectly with both my personal experiences and professional goals.”

Dr. Dinh earned her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from Pacific University College of Optometry and holds a Bachelor of Science in BioHealth Science from Oregon State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She also earned an Associate of Science degree from Portland Community College. During her optometric residency, she received advanced training in glaucoma, cataract post-operative care, and corneal diseases. Her clinical experience spans primary care, contact lenses, ocular disease, and pediatrics. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Vietnamese, she is passionate about helping bridge communication gaps in underserved communities.

Dr. Dinh enjoys working out at the gym, doing Pilates, traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, trying good food, boba, and matcha, and exploring new coffee shops and places around town. Her long-term goal is “to become a trusted and compassionate optometrist who makes a lasting impact on my community—especially by serving populations with limited access to eye care.” She hopes to continue building strong relationships with patients, promote awareness of eye health in Vietnamese-speaking populations, mentor future optometry students, and contribute to global health outreach programs.
