About Cara Robison, O.D.

Dr. Robison successfully completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Mississippi State University, where she excelled academically. Subsequently, she pursued a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 2008. During her time there, she held a position as an officer in her class and actively participated in the Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity (SVOSH) program. Through SVOSH, she had the opportunity to join mission trips to Mexico and the Dominican Republic, providing vital eye examinations, medications, and glasses to individuals who lacked access to these resources.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Dr. Robison actively engaged in various extracurricular activities. She was involved in her student government and dedicated her time to charitable initiatives with esteemed organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Toys for Tots. Her compassion for those affected by ocular disease and her commitment to enabling all children to reach their full potential through comprehensive vision examinations are particularly noteworthy.

Dr. Robison places great emphasis on establishing a strong doctor-patient relationship and prioritizes patient education. She strives to ensure her patients have a thorough understanding of any conditions they may have. Taking the necessary time, she attends to all aspects of eye care diligently. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the American Optometric Association (AOA), Georgia Optometric Association, Cornea and Contact Lens Section of the AOA, as well as her previous role as president of the Mississippi State Alumni Association’s Atlanta Chapter.

During her leisure time, Dr. Robison finds joy in the company of her loved ones and friends. She has a fondness for gardening and exploring the wonders of the outdoors.
