About Dr. Bratton

Starting out as a children’s hospital volunteer, Dr. Bratton was drawn to the medical field as a profession and found energizing purpose in working with people, especially children. She loves that the medical profession is centered around people with a focus on continuing education to improve the lives served. Dr. Bratton chose to specialize in Pediatric Ophthalmology because it was both challenging and rewarding. Bratton describes it, stating, “Working with and examining children can be difficult. Getting a proper exam with little ones requires flexibility and playfulness. Doctor’s offices can be stuffy and intimidating to children. Pediatric doctors have to be willing to be silly, sing songs, and try creative approaches to getting compliance.”Her focus in Adult Strabismus stems from the exciting and rewarding challenge of working with complex situations. Dr. Bratton describes her passion by stating, “The challenge excites me and the dramatic change in quality of life patients can experience provides continual motivation. I love seeing the joy on adult and pediatric patients when they experience the world in a whole new way.”Dr. Bratton became a provider at the Marietta Eye Clinic in 2017. She and her husband live in the Atlanta area with their three children. When not at work, she enjoys sewing, monogramming, and embroidery. Dr. Bratton is an avid reader and enjoys working out to stay healthy.
