Anisa B. Threlkeld, M.D.

Dr. Threlkeld, a board-certified ophthalmologist, has practiced in Georgia since 1994. A graduate of Emory University, Dr. Threlkeld attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After an internship at Georgetown University Hospital, she returned to Johns Hopkins Hospital for her residency in ophthalmology at the Wilmer Institute.

She completed her fellowship in glaucoma at the Duke University Eye Center. Dr. Threlkeld was on the faculty and served as Director of the Glaucoma Service for three years at the Medical College of Georgia. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has served as a council member for the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology since 1997. In addition to specializing in glaucoma, she practices general ophthalmology and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals on these topics.

Dr. Threlkeld sees patients at our main office in Marietta and at our Windy Hill office.
