Gregg Russell, OD
Dr. Russell is an Atlanta native and graduate of Marist High School and Emory University, with degrees in Chemistry and Psychology. Prior to joining Marietta Eye Clinic, Dr. Russell had his own optometric practice with offices in Eatonton, Greensboro, and Conyers, GA.
He completed his course work for a Master’s Degree in Physiological Optics and received his O.D. degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, TX. Dr. Russell has published numerous articles on eye care in peer-reviewed journals and is a contributing author to the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association. He has presented at national and international eye care conferences and is actively involved in clinical research, including studies in contact lens design.
Currently, Dr. Russell is a member of the American Optometric Association, a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry, and a Diplomate Candidate in the Cornea and Contact Lens Section.
Dr. Russell’s practice includes routine eye examinations for adults and children, as well as specialty contact lens fittings for patients with keratoconus, corneal scars, and refractive surgery complications. Dr. Russell sees patients at the Douglasville office as well as at the Main office in Marietta.
