Dr. Sanders joined the practice when it moved to its Cherokee Street location, in January 1973.
He received his M.D. degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem, and his B.S. degree from
Erskine College in South Carolina. Postgraduate training included an internship at North Carolina Baptist
Hospital and a residency at St. Louis University Hospital.
He has served as a clinical instructor of ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta
and as president of the Cobb County Medical Society.
He is a fellow of the American Board of Surgeons, a member of the board of directors of the Medical
Association of Georgia and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Sanders works primarily works out of our main office in Marietta but can also be seen in Canton.
