Dr. Corwin merged his practice with the Marietta Eye Clinic in the Fall of 1997 after having been in solo practice
for the previous eight years. He received his M.D. degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his
Ophthalmology residency at Yale University. Dr. Corwin then pursued specialized fellowship training in Corneal Surgery
at the N.Y. Eye and Ear Infirmary and in Cataract Surgery at the N.Y. Eye Surgery Center. He is Board Certified by the
American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery and a member of the AAO Refractive Surgery Interest Group.
Dr. Corwin is the Marietta Eye Clinic’s cornea specialist and in this role he routinely sees patients with corneal
infections, corneal scars, corneal swelling, keratoconus, pterygiums as well as a host of other cornea-related problems.
As a dry eye suffer himself, he also has a keen interest in helping patients with these uncomfortable symptoms. Dr.
Corwin is one of only a few Ophthalmologists in Georgia who routinely works with the Georgia Eye Bank to perform corneal
transplantation surgery.
Dr. Corwin has been performing refractive eye surgery since 1993 and has done thousands of LASIK cases. He was certified
to use the execimer laser in 1997 and received his LASIK training at the world-renowned Emory Vision Correction Center.
He is committed to offering his patients the most current and technologically advanced LASIK procedure and techniques
available.
Dr. Corwin sees patients at our Marietta office and our South Cobb office.
