Dr. Cohen joined Marietta Eye Clinic in August 2006. He received his BS in Biology from Emory University, his MS in
Biology from Georgia State University, and graduated with an MD from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta,
GA.
He completed his internship with the Department of Medicine, Methodist University Healthcare, Memphis, TN, and his
Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Ophthalmology, in Memphis, TN. In July
of 2006, he completed a Cornea, External Disease, Anterior Segment Fellowship at the University of California-Irvine
under Dr. Roger Steinert, internationally known cataract and LASIK pioneer.
Dr. Cohen is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of The American Academy of
Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, The American Medical Association, and The
Memphis Eye Society.
Dr. Cohen is a cornea and refractive surgery sub-specialist. He routinely manages patients with corneal-related
diseases such as Fuchs’ Dystrophy, dry eye syndrome, keratoconus, and pterygiums. Dr. Cohen sees patients at the
Douglasville office as well as at the Main office in Marietta.
