I was referred to Marietta Eye Clinic, and I’ll admit I arrived as a very skeptical and calloused patient. I saw a couple of different doctors with no luck, but one of the doctors referred me to Dr. Gregg Russell.
This man took time with me; time that other doctors would not. He talked with me, asked a lot of questions. He told me I was the worst RK patient he had ever seen, and was not surprised that other doctors didn’t understand my condition. He told me he would not quit until he corrected my vision. Since I had been ‘turned away’ by every other doctor, I was extremely skeptical that he would deliver on his promise.
Dr. Russell continued to work on my vision for over 12 months and never wavered from his promise. Through a lot of trial and error, he was…no, he IS…successful in correcting my vision. I owe my vision to him. I can see!
There is NO OTHER DOCTOR that takes the time and puts in the effort with his patients. We have become friends through this process. I have progressed from being a skeptical and calloused patient to having a true friend. I recently went to Dr. Corwin for cataract surgery and it was beyond my expectations. I was a little apprehensive and afraid to begin with but during the measurements I felt nothing. When I went in for my surgery it was like going to a spa, they wrapped me up and it was a great experience and I felt no pain. I was impressed by the way Dr. Corwin and his staff cared; calling me to make sure I was doing ok. So far I've only had one eye done but I can't wait to have the other eye done. I can really tell the difference. It was like turning on a light. I now understand why all my friends and family say they are glad they use him.
